This Privacy Policy describes how Room AI. ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our iOS mobile application ("App") and website at roomaiapp.vercel.app ("Site"). This policy applies to all users worldwide.
By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Room photos and images you upload for AI redesign processing
- Support communications you send to our team (email content)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device type, iOS version, and device identifier (for crash reporting and compatibility)
- App usage patterns (screens viewed, features used, session duration) — collected anonymously
- Crash reports and error logs to improve app stability
- Subscription status and transaction identifiers (processed by Apple — we do not receive credit card or payment information)
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact support)
- Location data
- Contacts or address book
- Health or fitness data
- Browsing history or web activity outside our app
- Precise GPS location
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide the AI room redesign service you request
- To process and fulfill your subscription through Apple App Store
- To display your redesign history within the app
- To improve and optimize our AI models and app performance
- To diagnose and fix technical issues (crash reports)
- To provide customer support when you contact us
- To comply with legal obligations
We process this data based on your consent (when you upload a photo), contractual necessity (to deliver the service you request), and our legitimate interests (to improve our service).
4. Photo and Image Processing
This is the most important section for most users. When you upload a room photo:
- Your photo is transmitted securely (HTTPS/TLS encryption) to our AI processing servers
- The AI model processes your photo to generate a redesigned version
- Generated images and your upload history are stored in your account for up to 90 days so you can access them in the app
- Your photos are NOT used to train AI models on an identifiable basis
- Your photos are NOT shared with advertisers or third-party marketing companies
- Your photos are NOT sold to any third parties
- You can delete your photo history at any time from the App Settings
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
All subscription purchases ("Room Redesign Pro Weekly" and "Room Redesign Pro Yearly") are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. through the Apple App Store. We receive only:
- A transaction confirmation token (not your payment details)
- Your subscription status and renewal dates
- Whether a free trial has been used
We do not store any credit card, debit card, or banking information. For refunds, billing disputes, or subscription management, please use your Apple ID account settings or contact Apple Support directly.
Auto-Renewal Disclosure: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We use trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (for AI processing and storage)
- Analytics providers (anonymized, aggregated data only)
- Crash reporting services (no personally identifiable information)
6.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Room AI., our users, or the public.
6.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred. We will notify you via a prominent notice in the App.
7. Data Retention
- Room photos and generated redesigns: stored for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Anonymous usage analytics: retained for up to 2 years in aggregated form
- Support correspondence: retained for up to 3 years
- Subscription transaction records: retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations

8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we work diligently to protect your data.
10. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@roomaiapp.vercel.app and we will delete such information from our records.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Our App may contain links to third-party services (e.g., Apple App Store). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
We do not integrate third-party advertising networks. We do not use tracking pixels or behavioral advertising.
